First you need to know a little about TEXTILE MATERIALS and formation of fabrics. A fabric is formed through lacing, locking, interlocking, twisting, weaving, knitting, bonding etc of fibers to form a fabric. Fibers on its own is classified into two major part namely ; natural and artificial fiber. A natural fiber can be gotten from cotton plant giving cotton fiber and animal fiber which is wool and silk.

Wool is gotten from cashmere air and silk from silk worm. Man-made fiber on the other hand is formed  through chemical reactions. They're also know as synthetic fibers.
